ROOTED IN EAST HARLEM SINCE 2009
Hoops By The River Inc. was founded in 2009 by Will Kelly Sr. and his son Will Kelly Jr., building on a family tradition of basketball, mentorship and community service in East Harlem. What began as an effort to provide young people with positive opportunities through basketball grew into a community organization focused on sports, education, mentorship and youth development.
